Step 2: Choose Apple Music Songs, Audiobooks or Videos

When you click and select one of the playlists from the left panel, you can see a checkbox for each song. Check the checkboxs to select the Apple Music songs that you want to convert. If you have a large number of songs in the playlist and you want to add them all, there is a select-all checkbox at top available for you to tick. Besides, built-in search box would be a good helper to help you locate the songs by searching song title, album or artist.

Step 3: Choose Output Format & Output Folder

9 output formats including MP3, M4A, AIFF, AC3, AU, AAC and FLAC are provided in the output format list. We recommend you choose MP3 or M4A as they are the most popular audio formats, or select the one you need. As a powerful converter, the program also provides you three levels of audio quality presets which are High Quality (48000 Hz, 320 kbps, stereo), Normal Quality (44100 Hz, 128 kbps, stereo) and Low Quality (22050 Hz, 64 kbps, stereo) for you to choose. Of course, you can custom the parameters like bitrate (kbps), sample rate (hz), etc. if needed.

Generally, the converter will set the default output path as C:\Users\(Username)\TuneKeep Audio Converter. There is a "..." button in the bottom panel and you are able to choose the output folder as you want by clicking this button.

But actually, you can edit artist, album artist, album and genre and artwork before conversion if you want them to be special or personal for you. Besides, it's also a useful feature for the songs with deficient or incorrect metadata tags you added to iTunes library from other sources.

Step 4: Preferences before Conversion (Optional)

After choosing and adding songs with or without some edits of output settings that you have done in the former step, you can actually start the conversion straight. Possibly, there are some extra options you may still want to change before the conversion. Then you will need to open the "Preferences" dialog to make some changes. Click "Options" button to open it and you will see two tabs which are "General" and "Advanced". Most options are in General tab and while output format customization is in Advanced tab.

Output volume adjustment is available from 50% to 200%. Besides, you can set a rule for sorting output files into folders using supported ID3 tags like {Album}, {Title}, {Artist}, {TrackID} and {DiscID}, as well as special characters. You are also able to set folders by using slash (/) or backslash (\). About file name, there are three kinds of special chacters for you to combine the ID3 tags as the file name, they are hyphen (-), underline (_) and space, you can choose each of them according to your needs. After making any changes, you can easily save them by colsing the "Options" dialog, which needs you to click on the red close button at the top left corner.

Note: In Mac OS X 10.9.5 - 10.12.6, Audio Converter will automatically use 16X faster conversion speed. However, in Mac OS X 10.13 or later, Audio Converter can only perform 1X speed because of system limitation.

Step 5: Start Conversion

Everthings is ready to go now. Press the "Convert" button to start the conversion. Although you will find that the origin files are converted one by one, but actually it will not take you long to finish the conversion. When the convertion is completed, you may want to locate these output songs immediately, and if you can't wait to enjoy one of them, you can click "Explore Output File" button to open the output folder without waiting for all the songs to be finished converting. Or if you are not in such a hurry, you can wait for all the songs to be converted and get back to the main interface to check the conversion history by clicking "History" button.

Warning: When conversion is in progress, please do not exit iTunes, play songs in iTunes or download files from iTunes Store. If not, the program will get crashed or freezed and the conversion may fail.
